From Our Founder

A tribute to Milton Wheeler

A proud father of four, Milton Wheeler strived to provide his family with the very best.

As a child in the 1940s working alongside his father, he farmed the lush pastures of the Manawatū region in New Zealand. Pesticides and fertilizers were simply not an option — instead they relied on organic farming methods to ensure his family and the broader community received a regular supply of wholesome, nutritious grains and vegetables.

He later refined the art of stone-ground milling to ensure the full goodness of the grain he so diligently grew was retained. No additives or bleaching agents were ever added to his flour.
